Salary: $18.00 per hour based on a 35 hour work week

Hours: This is a ten-month position from 12a.m. to 8 a.m. The off-months will be June and July.

POSITIONSUMMARY:
The Overnight DeskAttendant (Office Assistant II) provides administrative support and customerservice in residence halls, serving as the first point of contact for students,guests, and staff. Key duties include monitoring building access, managing guestregistration, handling room lockouts, and answering phone inquiries. The workschedule for this position will consist of five consecutive days, with theparticular days selected in accordance with coverage needs. Applicants must be willing to work on someweekends and holidays.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures thewellbeing of all residents.
Monitors the identification of all residents and guests entering the building.
Facilitates the guest sign-in policy.
Enforces visitation and alcohol policies.
Receives, screens and refers telephone calls and visitors.
Serves as the main point of contact for the Residence Life Duty Desk.
Refers duty calls to Resident Director on Call as necessary.
Liaison with Facilities Management on after-hour maintenance request andfollow-up.
Alerts Residence Life staff of any unusual circumstances.
Answers inquiries from the campus and general community.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited educational institution.
Previouswork-related experience.
Alternatively, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combinationof experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:
