Job description

Overview

BMW of Arlington is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with automotive parts needs, ensuring accurate ordering, timely fulfillment, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dealership environment, familiarity with BMW parts systems, and the ability to work efficiently using dealership management software such as CDK

Responsibilities

 
  • Assist retail and wholesale customers with parts selection, pricing, and availability
  • Support service technicians by sourcing and supplying accurate parts in a timely manner
  • Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control
  • Utilize CDK (Dealer Management System) to manage transactions, inventory, and orders
  • Ensure proper documentation and invoicing for all parts sales
  • Maintain an organized and clean parts counter and storage area
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and customers
  • Stay up to date on BMW parts, accessories, and product changes
  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding department sales goals

Qualifications

 
  • Previous automotive parts experience required; dealership experience preferred
  • BMW or luxury automotive brand experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with CDK or similar dealership management systems
  • Strong knowledge of automotive components and systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
