Job description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Main OR! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Bolivar is located in the Ozarks with a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. Springfield is only 40 minutes away with Battlefield Mall, Big Shots golf, Wonders of Wildlife, Urban Air and many other family attractions and restaurants to visit. Only an hour away is Branson that includes many shows to see, Silver Dollar City and shopping!

About the department: Our OR consists of 23 talented Surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month! The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together. 

A typical day includes: preparing rooms for surgery, transporting patients to the room, completing surgical prep,  documenting in the EMR, and cleaning the OR suite post-surgery. 

  • Practice circulating intra-operative 
  • Provide moderate sedation
  • Circulate for procedures

Job Requirements: 

  • Education: Associates degree or Bachelors degree
  • Experience: Patient care,
  • Skills: Communication, multitasking
  • License: RN
  • Physical: the ability to stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

This position is Full-Time, Days. 0700-1530 

  •  Call requirement: for nights and weekends,up to 5 shifts per month.
