Job description

Job Roles:

The Confined Space Rescue (CSR) Technician must meet the minimum requirements listed below. The CSR technician assumes the roles of Rescue 1 and / or attendant. The CSR technician reports directly to the CSR Site Supervisor and Division Manager.

Job Requirements:
  • Comply with all TSC policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Adheres to the rescue plans as set forth by Site Supervisor.
  • Performs additional tasks or duties as assigned by Site Supervisor and / or Manager.
  • Conduct a visual inspection of confined space certifications from ALL personnel associated with confined space operations.
  • Knowledge of confined space rescue operations per CalOSHA and NFPA standards on Operations and training for technical search and rescue incidents.
  • Able to communicate verbally clearly and effectively any sudden changes on the job site, patient contact, or rescue incidents.
  • Daily vehicle inventory physical count.
  • Interact with meet and greet, safety, and tail gate meetings.
  • Basic knowledge of H2S, O2, CO, LEL, and Benzene and their PEL/IDLH
  • Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a neat and clean uniform in compliance with S.O.P. 007.
  • Clean shaven.
  • Maintains all rescue equipment and vehicles in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. S.O.P. 006.
  • Maintain all personal training, orientations, and badges.
  • Basic knowledge of H2S, O2, CO, LEL, and Benzene and their PEL/IDLH
  • BBSO is completed at least once a month.
  • The vehicle washed and fueled at the end of shift.
