Position Overview:
At Hyatt Centric, we are curators of the neighborhood and champions of guest experience. The Overnight Facility Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the hotel operates safely, efficiently, and seamlessly during overnight hours.
This position blends engineering expertise, safety leadership, and guest-focused service, serving as the overnight leader responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property while ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and colleagues.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, service-driven, and confident in independent decision-making, embodying Hyatt's purpose of care in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary leader on property overnight in the absence of senior leadership
  • Oversee hotel operations, ensuring all departments are supported as needed
  • Maintain situational awareness of occupancy levels, VIPs, and group activity
  • Communicate effectively with morning leadership teams via logs, reports, and handoffs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, safety incidents, and follow-up actions
  • Support and guide overnight colleagues, fostering teamwork and accountability
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and service excellence
    Role Summary
  • This position is essential to delivering the Hyatt Centric experience overnight-ensuring the hotel is safe, fully functional, and consistently aligned with brand standards , while providing confident leadership and genuine care for guests and colleagues alike.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in hotel engineering, maintenance, or facilities
  • 1+ year of experience in safety, security, or loss prevention
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently overnight
  • Computer proficiency (basic systems, reporting, and security platforms)
  • Flexible availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable attendance and professional accountability

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a hotel environment
  • Experience with Hyatt systems or lifestyle/luxury hotel brands
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
