Overview
Hourly Pay: $23.00 - $26.00, DOE
Location: 63140 Dickey Rd, Bend, OR 97701
Full Time, Onsite position
Schedule: Friday- Sunday; 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM (30 hours per week)
Embark Behavioral Health in Bend, Oregon is hiring compassionate, purpose-driven Behavioral Health Technician to join our overnight care team. In this essential role, you'll support preteens ages 10-17 in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment, helping them grow through experiential learning, animal-assisted activities, academic support, and emotional skill-building.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through active overnight supervision and timely documentation
  • Maintain a calm, supportive presence while monitoring overnight needs and routines
  • Guide adolescents through evening transitions and coping strategies
  • Respond empathetically to emotional or behavioral challenges using trauma-informed, de-escalation techniques
  • Support a clean, welcoming environment through nightly cleaning and facility upkeep
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Assist with residential upkeep, animal care, and light administrative tasks

Qualifications
  • Age: 21+ years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice or minimum of 2 years' experience working in Human Services, preferred.
  • Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
  • Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
  • Driver's License: Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License with a clean driving record and meet company insurability requirements.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
  • Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Oregon state laws.
