Job description

Battery Test Engineer - Battery energy Storage Systems - Training offered. 
Candidate needs to be open to the 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)
Contract to Hire, 1099 and W2 available, No C2C please.

Location: Mt Pleasant, PA 15666

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute product-specific test plans and procedures based on a specific set of instructions.
  • Collect and store test data.
  • Summarize findings in clear and concise reports.
  • Create records of test procedures, results, and observations.
  • Set up and operate testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with the test lead to drive tasks onsite.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of control systems and communication protocols, such as Modbus, RS485, and CAN.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with test equipment as they arise.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn tasks.
  • Experience working safely around and hands-on with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with energy storage systems and related technologies.
  • Experience with product testing and instrumentation tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
