Job description

Access Control Technician – $24–$40/HR DOE

We are currently hiring Access Control Technicians with 2+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic access control systems in commercial environments. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Denver area.

Access Control Technician Duties:

  • Installation, service, and troubleshooting of electronic access control systems (badging systems, card readers, maglocks, strikes, etc.)
  • Mounting and wiring access control panels, readers, power supplies, and locking hardware
  • Pulling and terminating low voltage cabling (CAT 5, CAT 6, RS-485, etc.)
  • Working with door hardware and integration with access systems
  • Testing and commissioning systems to ensure full functionality

Access Control Technician Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent experience with access control systems in a commercial setting
  • Familiarity with common systems (HID, Lenel, AMAG, Genetec, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
  • Comfortable with basic hand tools and low-voltage testing equipment
  • Your own tools including cordless drill, snips, punch-down tools, PPE (safety gear), etc.
  • Clean background and valid driver’s license may be required for certain sites
