Job description

OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Overhead Crane Operator for a company based in Woodstock, AL.  With this opportunity you will get to step into a hightech, fastmoving industrial environment where you’ll operate cuttingedge equipment and build valuable handson skills every day.

Pay Rate 
$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 4 00 am to 12 30 pm but must be flexible for time change

Overhead Crane Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads safely throughout the facility
  • Follow hand signals or radio communication from ground crew to guide movements accurately
  • Monitor load movement and stop operations immediately in response to hazards, alarms, or unsafe conditions
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of the crane, hooks, hoists, cables, and controls before operation
  • Ensure all loads are securely rigged and within the crane’s rated capacity before lifting.
  • Could be assisting in Packaging, Remote Crane or Fabricating work
Overhead Crane Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • Prior experience in overhead crane operations preferred. 
  • Must be willing to be trained in other departments as needed
  • Extreme attention to detail 
  • Strength and stamina to lift materials up to 75 pounds
  • Organizational skills
