Gearbox Software is looking for a talented, passionate, Senior Outsourcing Manager to join the team. This person will be responsible for all external art outsourcing. Responsibilities:Build and maintain long term relationships with external art vendorsNegotiate favorable contracts that align with scope and budgetManage external artists and provide feedbackManage the external art vendor schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day communicationTrack status of art assets and provide supporting materials required for productionDevelop the external art pipeline into a highly efficient workflow that maintains quality while meeting budgetary constraintsWork to expand outsourcing efforts while improving efficiency, savings, and quality Qualifications:3+ years as an Outsourcing Manager or Art Manager in the video game industryPrevious experience managing vendors or external teamsAbility to solve complex production problems efficientlyStrong time management skills with ability to multi-task while meeting deadlinesKnowledgeable of art content production pipelinesAmbitious and passionate about quality resultsAbility to communicate well both written and orallyComfortable in a dynamic work environment where there are many changes and iterations to improve the game.
