MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is on our CFO Services practice line. The CFO Services Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple client engagements and managing a team of Seniors and Accountants. The client service aspect will focus on outsourced accounting and interim Controller roles. The Manager will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring staff, managing client relationships and networking/ practice development. This role reports to the Senior Manager and Shareholder.

MANAGER ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Provides high-quality, value add CFO Services to clients
โ€ข Manages client expectations to provide exceptional service to a book of business
โ€ข Manages multiple ongoing engagements to meet client deadlines, schedule staff and ensure staff time is properly utilized.
โ€ข Builds and maintains relationships with key client contacts
โ€ข Looks for opportunities to create value, reduce costs and maximize efficiencies for clients
โ€ข Reviews work of seniors and accountants for accuracy of accounting and financial reporting
โ€ข Mentors and coaches Seniors and Accountants
โ€ข Assists with Firm administrative tasks for CFO Services as needed (e.g.โ€”scheduling, sales pipelining, performance reviews, billing, etc.)
โ€ข Becomes an expert in QuickBooks Online and other ERP systems clients utilize. Operates in client systems and performs detailed transactions and analyses as needed.
โ€ข Assists with hiring, developing, and managing CFO Services team-members as assigned
โ€ข Meets annual budgeted billable hours
โ€ข Cultivates new business for the Firm and identifies additional services to provide to current clients of the Firm
โ€ข Cross-sells and identifies additional services to provide to current clients of the Firm
โ€ข Participates in Firm committees and activities
โ€ข Promotes the Firm positively in the community and through professional organizations involvement
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned

MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting or finance; Masterโ€™s degree or continuing coursework is preferred
โ€ข CPA or relevant certification preferred
โ€ข 2+ years of managerial or direct supervisory experience
โ€ข Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products
โ€ข Experience or Interest in leveraging automation or AI based tools
โ€ข Valid Driverโ€™s license and transportation to client sites up to 1 hour from the home office location
โ€ข Proven ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team setting
