Job description

Job Summary: The OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE works under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager; is responsible for maintaining and increasing gross profit with existing accounts and establishing new customers in sales territory. Provide customers with product information and introduce new tires to customers. Train customers on Weblink and evaluate customers for programs.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Establish new customers and provide accounts with details on products or programs that K&M Tire can develop with their specific needs in mind.
  2. Complete and submit daily call reports.
  3. Maintain and grow sales territory.
  4. Responsible for keeping all accounts up to date.
  5. Introduce new tires to customers.
  6. Must support company goals.

Job Requirements:
  1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of multiple tire lines.
  2. Ability to work in a multi-tasking, professional environment.
  3. Ability to communicate and express ideas effectively both in written and oral communications.
  4. Possess a friendly and positive attitude.
  5. Project a professional image of yourself and the company.
  6. Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  7. Ability to work independently.
  8. Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator.
  9. Knowledge of the following software: outlook, word, excel and weblink.
  10. Knowledge of all of K&M's programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 year business degree or 3 years sales experience
