The Sales & Account Manager – Surfaces is responsible for driving new business development and generating sales revenue for flooring, tile, and countertop projects. This role focuses heavily on sales performance, relationship management, and identifying new opportunities while also supporting project coordination and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to promote company products and services.
• Develop and present proposals, bids, and estimates aligned with company pricing and profitability expectations.
• Prepare material take-offs and pricing for flooring, tile, and countertop projects.
• Follow up consistently on proposals and opportunities to drive conversions and close sales.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Identify opportunities to expand and grow existing customer accounts.
• Maintain strong knowledge of flooring, tile, countertop materials, and project requirements.

Account Management & Project Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including operations, purchasing, and scheduling, to support successful project execution.
• Communicate project specifications and timelines clearly to internal teams to ensure accurate scheduling and delivery.
• Monitor project progress and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and quality service.
• Address customer questions, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Support internal coordination efforts to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

General Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain strong communication and professionalism in all interactions.
• Represent SRG Ventures positively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Demonstrate accountability, organization, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Minimum Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in flooring, construction, or a related industry
• Experience with estimating, bidding, or construction-related sales preferred
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This position operates in a combination of office and field environments, including customer locations and job sites. Regular travel is required. Duties may include standing, walking, measuring, inspecting project conditions, and driving between locations.
