We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Territory Management
• Manage and grow sales within an assigned geographic territory.
• Develop and execute territory plans to achieve revenue, margin, and activity targets.
• Prospect for new customers while expanding business with existing accounts.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of equipment, service, and refurbishment opportunities.
Equipment Sales (New & Refurbished)
• Sell new and refurbished equipment solutions aligned with customer operational needs and budgets.
• Assess customer applications and recommend appropriate equipment configurations.
• Present value propositions for refurbished equipment, including cost savings, performance, and warranty coverage.
• Coordinate equipment demonstrations, quoting, and order execution.
Field Service & Solutions Selling
• Promote service agreements, maintenance plans, and aftermarket parts to drive recurring revenue.
• Collaborate with field service technicians and service managers to identify sales opportunities.
• Act as the primary customer contact for service related inquiries and escalations.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build long term, trusted relationships with facility managers, operations leaders, and decision makers.
• Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs and uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide product education, application guidance, and solution recommendations.
Cross Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Inside Sales, Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate quoting, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate internally to resolve customer issues and improve overall account performance.
Reporting & Administration
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Track competitive activity and market trends within the territory.
• Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Competencies and skills

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–7+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in equipment, service, industrial, or distribution environments.
• Experience selling capital equipment, refurbished equipment, or service solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within territory.

Preferred Qualifications
• Technical or mechanical aptitude with field service–supported products.
• Experience working closely with service technicians or operations teams.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management.
• Background in distribution, industrial equipment, facilities, or related industries.
