Job description

Title: Outside Sales / Admission Advisors
Department: Admissions - General
Reports to: Director of Admissions
This position will be responsible for covering all of Western MI.
Job Summary: Admissions Advisors assist qualified potential students through the admissions process in an efficient, professional, and supportive manner. Admissions Advisors call prospective students, set appointments, conduct in-depth interviews and tours of the campus, and provide accurate information regarding OTC programs to assist potential students in identifying the OTC program that will best meet their needs.
Performance Expectations
  • Contact internet/website leads that are assigned to you after normal business hours will be answered same day
  • Report on daily appointments for the day (with results), new appointments scheduled, calls made, and daily enrollments. (using LeadSquared)
  • Update LeadSquared with conversations/contacts, outcomes, etc.
  • Metrics:
    - 30 weeks to be in the schools doing in-person presentations
    - 90 to 100 high school in-person presentations per year
    - 750 to 850 interested senior level leads per year
    - 600 to 700 interested junior level leads per year
    - 3 to 5 (minimum) interviews weekly
    - 2 to 4 (minimum) enrollments weekly
    - 24 to 26 (minimum) senior leads a week
  • Report weekly per company standards
  • Attend outside events to generate your own leads. Will be reimbursed as outlined with our Outside Admissions plan
  • Other expectations will be communicated as necessary
Knowledge, Education and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to do in-person interviews or presentations as listed with the above "Performance Expectations"
  • 1-3 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, or another related field strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related experience to include appointment setting, interviewing, relationship building, client services, and commitment to follow-up skills, etc.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Passionate about helping others achieve their educational and career goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills: to include the ability to effectively follow up and follow through.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team.
