Job description

Belfair, one of the Lowcountry's premier private golf and residential communities in Bluffton, South Carolina, is seeking a Full-Time Outside Golf Services Attendant to join our Golf Operations team.


Managed by Troon, the world's largest professional club management company, and recognized as a Distinguished Club, Belfair is home to two Tom Fazio Championship golf courses and a premier Learning Center, offering an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests.


As an Outside Golf Services Attendant, you will play an essential role in delivering the first-class service our members have come to expect. From greeting members upon arrival to preparing golf carts, maintaining the practice facilities, and ensuring every detail is ready for an exceptional day on the course, you will help create memorable experiences while serving as an ambassador for Belfair and our Golf Operations team.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver exceptional service to members and guests from arrival to departure.
  • Greet members and guests at the bag drop and assist with loading golf bags onto carts.
  • Stage golf carts for daily play and ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
  • Provide directions and information regarding the golf shop, first tee, driving range, and other club amenities.
  • Collect, transport, and replenish range balls throughout the day.
  • Operate the range picker to retrieve golf balls from the practice facility.
  • Wash, clean, and prepare golf carts after each use.
  • Return carts to the cart barn and safely connect charging equipment when applicable.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of all outside golf operations.
  • Support all golf course policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for serving others.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Golf knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting golf bags and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
