Position Overview
The Outside Golf Services Associate plays a crucial role in delivering a premium golf experience for members and guests. This position focuses on exceptional service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Team members will assist in all outside golf operations, ensuring the golf experience reflects the standards of a top-tier private club.
Key ResponsibilitiesMember & Guest Services
  • Provide a warm, personalized greeting to all members and guests upon arrival.
  • Assist with golf bags, loading and staging golf carts, and setting up practice facilities.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of club policies, tournament schedules, and daily play to answer questions with confidence.

Golf Cart & Equipment Management
  • Prepare, stage, and maintain golf carts to club standards, including cleanliness, charging, and stocking amenities.
  • Handle the transport, storage, and organization of member and guest golf bags.
  • Maintain the bag room, cart barn, and staging areas in a clean and orderly manner.

Practice Facility Operations
  • Set up and maintain practice tee areas, ensuring alignment sticks, range balls, pyramids, and amenities are pristine.
  • Regularly monitor and replenish range balls throughout the day.
  • Assist with closing procedures, retrieving balls, and maintaining range equipment.

On-Course Support
  • Monitor pace of play when requested by the golf staff.
  • Support tournaments and special events, including cart staging, signage, contest setup, and scoring assistance.

Operational Excellence
  • Uphold all safety standards with club vehicles and equipment.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to the professional staff.
  • Deliver consistent, professional communication with members, guests, and coworkers.

Qualifications
  • Prior golf or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-minded approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
