We’re adding an Electrical Outside Sales Professional at our Columbus location to help grow market share and deepen relationships across Columbus, Hilliard, Dublin, Powell, and surrounding areas.

Outside Sales – Electrical, travel within territory Who Thrives in This Role: You’re driven. You’re competitive. You’re comfortable walking onto job sites, into contractor offices, and through unfamiliar doors. At the same time, you understand that the real win is becoming the go-to supplier your customers trust year after year. You sell value, service, and solutions—not just price.What You’ll Do
  • Actively hunt for new business while growing existing electrical accounts
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors, foremen, estimators, and decision-makers
  • Read blueprints and schematics to develop material takeoffs, quotes, and bids
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and substitute opportunities across electrical—and beyond
  • Leverage Wolff Bros.’ full product offering (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) to grow wallet share
  • Communicate pricing programs, promotions, and service advantages that set us apart
  • Use samples, presentations, brochures, and vendor partnerships to introduce new products
  • Research specialty and non-stock items to meet customer needs
  • Attend sales meetings, vendor trainings, trade shows, and industry events to sharpen skills
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Purchasing, A/R, and Operations to drive profitability
  • Resolve customer issues related to pricing, returns, warranties, and delivery
  • Review sales reports, track activity, and maintain accurate customer data
  • Step in to support emergency deliveries or jobsite needs when it counts

  • Outside sales experience and/or electrical industry experience required
  • Proven ability to develop new business and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills
  • Comfort reading plans, understanding job requirements, and proposing solutions
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized—this is a field-based role
  • Competitive mindset with a team-first attitude

Schedule amp; Compensation
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
  • No nights. No weekends.
  • Competitive base salary plus commission
