Job description

Looking for Experienced Outside Contractor Sales Representative with lumber and building material sales and product background.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: (Contractor Sales)
An Outside Contractor Sales Representative aggressively grows sales and promotes the Builders Warehouse name. Sales Representative acts as a Builders Warehouse business representative for the building materials distribution channel. Manages accounts and provides customer service.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ขResponsible for selling Builders Warehouse products to customer base
โ€ขPromote sales growth and business opportunities for all Builders Warehouse customers
โ€ขWork with Builders Warehouse customers to advise them of product solutions
โ€ขProvide business counsel and marketing advice to customers
โ€ขProvide sales and service support to homeowners in concert with contractors
โ€ขSupport the order fulfillment process by working extensively with inside sales reps, customer service, credit and delivery;
โ€ขPlanning


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
โ€ขMinimum of five (5) years experience in outside sales
โ€ขBuilding industry knowledge required


EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
โ€ขBachelor degree preferred
โ€ขSales skill training


ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:
โ€ขSense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
โ€ขAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
โ€ขProven success in a sales territory
โ€ขComputer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
โ€ขExcellent written and oral communication skills
โ€ขAttention to detail with strong organizational skills
โ€ขExcellent customer service skills


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
โ€ขVaries from inside office to outdoors at jobsites.
