Build Relationships, Source Inventory, and Grow Your Career

Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Consignment Sales Consultant to join our team in Bradenton, FL.

This role is focused on helping boat owners sell their vessels while supporting one of the most important functions within the dealership-bringing quality inventory into our sales pipeline. You'll work directly with sellers, buyers, and dealership leadership to help manage the consignment process from the initial conversation through final sale.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, following up on opportunities, building relationships, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role comes from consistency, communication, and a willingness to put in the effort to keep deals moving forward.

This is not a position where you'll simply wait for opportunities to come to you. The most successful candidates will be proactive, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple conversations and leads at once.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Competitive compensation with strong commission earning potential
  • Opportunity to play a direct role in growing dealership inventory and sales
  • Work with boat owners, buyers, and a variety of marine products every day
  • Established dealership with strong brand recognition and consistent inventory demand
  • Supportive leadership team and structured sales process
  • Clear opportunities for advancement and long-term career growth within Boater's World Marine Centers and the Outdoor Network family of companies

What Success Looks Like

  • Building relationships with boat owners interested in selling their vessels
  • Consistently following up with leads and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
  • Sourcing inventory through referrals, online marketplaces, customer outreach, and dealership leads
  • Utilizing tools such as Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms to identify opportunities and generate conversations
  • Managing opportunities from initial contact through signed consignment agreements and final sale
  • Delivering a professional, responsive customer experience throughout the process

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales, BDC, inside sales, internet sales, automotive sales, RV sales, powersports sales, or similar customer-facing sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage follow-up, lead generation, and customer relationships
  • Experience utilizing Facebook Marketplace, online listings, CRM systems, or similar lead-generation tools is strongly preferred
  • Marine, automotive, RV, powersports, or consignment experience is a plus

Skills & Traits

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, following up on leads, and maintaining consistent activity
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Motivated by personal performance, customer satisfaction, and career advancement

Who Will Thrive Here

The candidates who succeed in this role are typically those who enjoy staying busy, building relationships, following up consistently, and taking ownership of their results. If you're looking for an opportunity where effort, organization, and customer service directly impact your success, this can be an extremely rewarding career path.
