Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments that take into account emotional, social, and financial needs, collaborating with medical professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Provide individual and group counseling focused on a range of issues, including adjustment disorders, grief, and coping strategies related to addiction recovery.
• Actively coordinate with community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring seamless transitions for patients into the community.
• Offer vital emotional support and education to both patients and families on treatment options available and resources at their disposal.
• Participate in hospital committees, providing valuable insights on social work-related matters and enhancing the integration of services provided.
• Deliver crisis intervention and emotional support to patients and their families during critical moments of their recovery process.
• Develop and implement individualized discharge plans, connecting patients with appropriate community resources to ensure continuity of care following discharge.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and all legal requirements, ensuring quality assurance and transparency.

The clientele served at Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center often includes individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and significant life changes. • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology as well as mental health disorders to effectively interact with patients and other medical staff.

• Two years of experience working in a healthcare or hospital setting, particularly in behavioral health or addiction services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and knowledge of community resources.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition, we provide:
