About the Role
We are looking for an Outcomes Coordinator to join our team and play an important role in supporting CACs mission.
In this position, you will:
- Coordinate daily operations, ensure efficient workflow and maintain high levels of customer service to maximize live outcomes for shelter animals. You will also assist in tracking and analyzing data, managing placement logistics, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

What Youll Be Responsible For
Your day-to-day may include:
- Facilitate animal placements through Adoption, Rescue, Return to Owner, or Transfer to Rescue, ensuring live outcomes with minimal shelter time.
- Oversee the accurate completion of all adoption and outcome processes, including verifying medical records, microchips, and licenses.
- Manage and maintain relationships with rescue partners, serving as the primary point of contact for the organization.
- Monitor the program's success, using data to identify areas for improvement and suggest data-driven initiatives to enhance or expand the program.
- Provide high-level customer service to visitors, adopters, and community members, handling inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Coordinate the scheduling of animal showings and releases, advocating for both the customer and the animals well-being.
- Work with other departments - Medical, Behavior, Foster, Community Support, and Animal Care - to facilitate animal placements.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining program inventory, ensuring essential supplies are stocked and managed effectively.
- Provide guidance to Outcomes Specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Educate the public and promote the organizations mission, ensuring alignment with best practices and adoption philosophies.
- Support new staff and volunteers in training, ensuring adherence to department protocols and standards.
- Report any incidents or program needs promptly to the Outcomes Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Outcomes Manager or other management staff.
- Supporting additional organizational needs as they arise

Qualifications
Preferred/Required:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in animal welfare or a related field; experience in placements is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic animal behavior and progressive shelter practices.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences within and outside the organization.
- Ability to manage relationships with rescue partners, staff, volunteers, and community members effectively.
- Competency in operating computers and commonly used software programs.
- Detail-oriented, capable of maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with compassion, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptable and resilient, capable of handling various environmental conditions within a shelter setting.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record preferred.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
