Job Description

Tiger-Sul is a subsidiary of Tessenderlo Kerley and is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Operator - Night Shift for their Irricana Canada plant location. Hour Rate: $21.00

The Warehouse & Shipping Operator is responsible for the daily shipping and receiving of products in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and operational requirements. This role ensures smooth product flow between storage, production, and distribution areas, supporting overall plant productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies; accurately record and log all goods into the inventory system.
  • Prepare and load outbound shipments according to customer orders, ensuring correct product selection, packaging, and labeling.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas; follow proper storage and handling procedures to protect product integrity.
  • Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and hazard communication.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to resolve issues promptly.
  • Adhere to quality control standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Plant Manager or management.
Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving operations preferred.
  • Proficiency with forklift operation (Class 1 or equivalent) and basic computer skills for inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely; physical stamina required for standing, walking, and bending.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and meeting deadlines. 

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced warehouse setting with potential for irregular hours.
  • Exposure to various products, equipment, and safety hazards; requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards. 

This role is essential to maintaining efficient product movement and ensuring timely delivery to customers while supporting the Assistant Plant Manager’s operational goals.
