OVERVIEW:
The Operations Specialist at SILTT is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of physical assets, ensuring seamless material movement and inventory integrity. This role balances the physical demands of a growing fulfillment center with the analytical requirements of autonomous material analysis via our warehouse management system. Beyond the daily flow of goods, you will serve as a key lead for process compliance and warehouse safety, ensuring our operations meet all regulatory and internal standards. You will act as a critical bridge between floor operations and management, providing the data-driven reporting necessary to scale our world-class infrastructure solutions.

A CALL TO ACTION:

This Operations Specialist will have the opportunity to be on the ground floor and help define the trajectory of our future!
Essential Duties Include:
Material Movement & Fulfillment

  • End-to-End Logistics: Manage the complete cycle of material handling: Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.
  • Order Execution: Own the order fulfillment process, ensuring all shipments are accurate, securely packaged, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Freight Management: Oversee loading/unloading operations and coordinate with couriers to optimize inbound/outbound flow.
Material Analysis & ERP Oversight
  • Systemic Analysis: Use the ERP system and advanced spreadsheets to perform autonomous material analysis, monitoring stock aging, velocity, and consumption patterns.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Lead regular inventory audits (cycle counts and wall-to-wall) to maintain 99%+ accuracy.
  • Management Reporting: Generate and present weekly reports to management regarding inventory levels, fulfillment bottlenecks, and warehouse performance metrics.
Warehouse Management & Process Compliance
  • Safety Leadership: Oversee the daily safety posture of the warehouse, ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety protocols.
  • Audit Support: Act as a key participant in process and quality audits, providing documentation and demonstrating workflow compliance.
  • Forklift Operations: Maintain expert proficiency in forklift and pallet jack operation, ensuring the safe movement of oversized or high-value infrastructure components in and around the operations spaces.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine material flow and storage density to maximize facility throughput.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
  • Strong experience using ERP/WMS systems for inventory management and material tracking.
  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Proven experience following strict operational standards and supporting process/safety audits.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead inventory and process audits, and provide reporting on corrective actions.
  • Current Forklift Operator certification.
  • Ability to distill complex warehouse data into clear reports for management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma
  • Advanced Logistics & Expediting: Skilled in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and courier software (i.e. FedEx/UPS shipping platform) for effective courier management and order expediting.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) or ISO 9001 standards.
  • Kitting/Assembly: Experience with material kitting or sub-assembly for technical hardware.
  • Experience with OSHA 10/30 or general industrial safety frameworks.
WORK LOCATION & HOURS:
The work associated with this role must be performed on-site at our Leesburg Headquarters, though some travel may be required for periodic support as needed. This role typically aligns with standard warehouse operating hours. However, candidates should maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional weekend shifts, early starts, or late finishes as required by essential maintenance projects or periods of extended operations.
