Ahava Therapy Services is hiring a Full-Time OTA at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson, TN, has 156 beds that offer short-term rehab, long-term care, and outpatient therapy services. Join a supportive in-house rehab team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and meaningful collaboration.

⚙️ Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures

  • Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties

  • Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed

  • Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

  • Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment

  • Assist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned

  • Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to the discipline and responsibilities

  • Act in compliance with Ahava Therapy Services’ regulatory and professional standards

  • Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences and other facility meetings

  • Adhere to company and facility policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs
