The program will support US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, collect, and exploit publicly available information (PAI) across open-source platforms, social media, dark web forums, foreign media, and other open-source channels to support intelligence production and target development.
  • Apply advanced analytical skills to fuse open-source data with all-source intelligence to identify, assess, and report on adversary networks, capabilities, and tactics at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
  • Leverage open-source tools and techniques to perform geolocation analysis, pattern of life assessments, and digital footprint analysis in support of SOF Task Force targeting and operational planning.
  • Produce finished intelligence products, assessments, and briefings derived from open-source collection, including link analysis charts, network diagrams, and threat assessments for U.S. and coalition consumers.
  • Collaborate with analysts across the Intelligence Community and DoD to integrate OSINT findings into all-source analytical products and support ongoing collection requirements.
  • Support continuous, time-sensitive global Indications and Warning (I&W) by monitoring open-source channels for emerging threats, adversary activity, and threat network developments.
  • Maintain proficiency in current OSINT tools and platforms such as Maltego, Palantir, social media exploitation tools, and other web-based research applications.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of manual and automated databases of relevant open-source intelligence to support ongoing and projected research products.
  • Deploy in support of JSOTF operations in both CONUS and OCONUS environments as required, and accomplish assigned special projects and tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required. proficient in utilizing current intelligence related automation, applications, tools, and databases to support analytical efforts and product development. 
  • Strong experience is required in the following analytical areas: Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), data at rest Regional Analysis, Geo-Political Analysis, HUMINT/SIGINT Analysis, and Collection Management. 
  • Must have ability to work as a part of a team to identify trends and information of value within data-at-rest to drive reporting and production to alert decision-makers of new developments and to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Acute knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.
