Ventura Orthopedics is seeking a creative, motivated, and organized Marketing Intern to join our Marketing Department. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual who is passionate about marketing, communications, social media, community engagement, and healthcare. As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting marketing campaigns, digital communications, referral development initiatives, community outreach events, and brand awareness efforts. You will work closely with the Marketing Specialist while helping promote Ventura Orthopedics' mission of helping patients Move Better. Feel Better. Live Better. What You'll Do As a Marketing Intern, you will:

  • Develop and support marketing campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Conduct market research on competitors, patient demographics, and healthcare industry trends.
  • Manage social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule content using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, and Buffer.
  • Assist with the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials including brochures, website content, social media campaigns, and digital presentations.
  • Monitor website analytics and social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and content libraries.
  • Support Ventura Orthopedics' annual referral marketing campaign, including provider outreach and event coordination.
  • Prepare marketing materials and promotional items for community events, webinars, health fairs, and outreach programs.
  • Participate in community events to promote healthcare awareness and engage with patients and local organizations.
Requirements:


What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Twelve to eighteen months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Customer and patient service focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn marketing software platforms.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

  • Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or other content creation and scheduling tools.
