The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns - both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members - with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.


Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.


Position Summary:

The DCCC is hiring Regional Organizing Directors for the 2026 campaign cycle. The RODs report directly to the Deputy National Organizing Director, and are primarily responsible for management and oversight of all organizing operations for a designated region of the country. RODs will work within their regional pod and department to advocate for field investments, and implement voter contact and GOTV programs in target races. They will work directly with district organizing directors to ensure that the operations are meeting programmatic priorities and that the campaign is on track to win. 


Responsibilities:

  • Screen and advise Organizing Directors for targeted DCCC campaigns with program planning, targeting, and execution
  • Work alongside National Organizing Leadership to develop and execute the program
  • Work within regional pod structure to facilitate cohesion with the organizing program
  • Work with Congressional campaigns and state party programs to create voter contact universes
  • Communicate regularly with state party Coordinated and Organizing staff regarding plans, budgets, and goals 
  • Analyze and produce daily quantitative reports reflecting progress towards specific goals in targeted districts to assess strength of program
  • Assist congressional Organizing Directors in developing and executing district field plans
  • Advocate for, allocate, and manage district field budgets and resources
  • Ensuring that hiring benchmarks are met with local, diverse, and qualified staff
  • Train and develop in-district Organizing Staff
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ cycles of experience working on political campaigns in a field organizing capacity or comparative experience working with community, advocacy or electoral organizations with success in developing and winning campaigns
  • Draws from team members' strengths, empowering them to maximize their talents, contributes where needed to achieve and exceed goals, mentors and guides colleagues with regular feedback and recognition, clearly lays out vision and expectations to the team
  • Strong management, coaching, and training experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, VAN, Mobilize America and reporting systems
  • Ability to establish a culture of respect and community
  • Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence - the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant and productive ways
  • A demonstrated ability to present data-driven recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner
  • A record of building strong working relationships
  • Highly motivated to achieve winning results
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate information with multiple partners and stakeholders with varying levels of experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
