Job description

TITLE: Capabilities Development Specialist
CLEARANCE: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
LOCATION: Mark Center - Alexandria, VA
Required Skills and Relevant Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with DoD doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and/or policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis.
  • Experience with research and development of new requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include conducting research and preparing written products to present information.

Required Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any field of study

Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:
  • Preferred certificate, degree or higher-level education to be in Business, Finance, Accounting,
  • Information Technology or Engineering discipline.
  • Experience interacting at the most senior levels of the DoD staff and Interagency (Offices of the
  • Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, Combatant Commands, DARPA, ONR, DoS etc.)
  • (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level); and,
  • Knowledge or experience with an OIE related field
