Job description

Facilities Maintenance Lead
Department: Facilities
Work Location: 72nd and F
Employment Status: Full-Time
Pay Range: $25.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates, performs, and oversees the maintenance and repair of all Goodwill properties, ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with operational needs. Leads maintenance staff, manages work orders, and ensures timely response to routine and urgent facility needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and performance of electrical, plumbing, welding, and carpentry at all facilities
  • Effectively recruit, hire, develop, supervise, schedule and evaluate staff
  • Respond to trouble calls at Goodwill properties
  • Respond to calls after hours, on weekends, and holidays
  • Safely operate all maintenance equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines, agency safety policies and procedures, and occupational safety procedures
  • Perform visual inspection of Goodwill properties and make corrections
  • Coordinate maintenance with contractors and establish work priority listing
  • Maintain a maintenance/repair record of all Goodwill properties
  • Maintain work orders and invoices
  • Proactively manage facilities ticketing system and assign to personnel
  • Ensure an adequate inventory of tools, equipment and supplies
  • Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
  • Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants
  • Responsible for facilities needs of tenants at BPP
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Five (5) or more years of maintenance experience required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license and be insurable

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must be able to use and repair equipment in a safe manner
  • Must be able to follow OSHA safety guidelines
  • Work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary
