This position is in Mountain View, AR
We're looking for an Early Childhood Development Specialist (ECDS) to join our Kids First team in Mountain View, AR. Kids First is dynamic and growing organization that is committed to providing the best possible care and developmental intervention for young children.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about working with children and families, is knowledgeable about early childhood development, and is committed to providing high-quality, individualized care to young children with special healthcare needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus at least one of the following: 1) Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education Certificate, 2) A Child Development Associate Certificate, 3) Birth to Pre-K Credential WITH documentation that 12 hours of experience working with children with special needs and 12 hours of coursework in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or child and family studies PLUS six (6) months documented experience working with children.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to administer standardized developmental testing instruments
  • Ability to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones in the birth-five population
