This role fosters campus spirit, promotes student involvement, and assists professional staff with the day-to-day operations of Student Engagement & Belonging. As a result of the work performed while in this role, the Campus Activities Intern will enhance skills in communication planning, organization, leadership, and teamwork. The intern will collaborate with staff, student organizations, and campus partners to create high impact and memorable experiences.
Job SummaryA student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job DutiesHigh School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.

Preferred QualificationsPosition will begin in August 2026 and work Monday through Friday, with specific hours and schedule according to needs and availability.

Physical RequirementsAbility to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
