Job Description
Our client, a leading line pipe distributor in the United States, is seeking a reliable Order Puller for their Stone Mountain location on the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and managing inventory in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will efficiently sort and place materials, ensuring accurate packing and shipping of orders while maintaining organizational standards. Responsibilities:
• Assist in shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and performing tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Organize the warehouse and work area to ensure orderliness at all times.
• Wear proper safety equipment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order pickers required.
• Knowledge of carbon flanges, fittings, and industrial valves is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug test.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to strictly observe safety rules and protocols.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs regularly, and over 100 lbs occasionally, with experience using Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Reach Trucks, or Pickers preferred.
