Job description

The Order Picker is responsible for picking the orders accurately and efficiently to meet productivity standards and is accountable for the accuracy of each order they pick. In performing this job, the Order Picker is routed through the warehouse by computer system using interactive picking software. The Order Picker operates electric and/or manual warehouse equipment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours of Operation: 9:00am - Until complete

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Accurately and efficiently picks orders without damaging products.
  2. Ensures the correct number and type of product is picked.
  3. Safely transports products to designated area for wrapping.
  4. Operates electric or manual warehouse equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
  5. Reports all Company property damage to the supervisor.
  6. Completes all work related paperwork neatly and accurately.
  7. Regularly reports to work each day at the scheduled starting time.
  8. Adheres to the established dress code.
  9. Understands and complies with all Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Skills

  1. High school diploma or GED certificate required
  2. Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math

Physical Demands

  1. Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  2. Must posses the ability to lift and/or move over 40 pounds consistently.
  3. Must be able to speak and hear to communicate.
  4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
