Warehouse Operations Leader
Location: South Atlanta Area
Salary: starting at $60,000
Shift: Standard day shift, including early mornings and Saturdays
Position Overview
PrideStaff Atlanta South is partnering with a rapidly growing, market-leading regional service and
logistics enterprise to identify a high-performing, hands-on Warehouse Operations Leader.
We are seeking an assertive, self-directed leader with a strong "backbone" who can take complete operational ownership of a fast-paced facility. The ideal candidate will act as a critical gatekeeper for company processes, establish clear accountability with a small team, and optimize inventory workflows to support the companies expanding regional network.
Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Directly supervise, schedule, and evaluate a small team of associates. Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor, analyze, and manage precise inventory levels. Oversee frequent cycle counts and tracking workflows.
  • Process Enforcement: Act as the operational gatekeeper to ensure strict adherence to company guidelines.
  • Daily Floor Operations: Actively assist with daily physical workflows, including loading/unloading, space optimization, lot organization, and product staging.
  • Data & Administration: Utilize standard office tracking software to manage inventory data, generate performance reports, and independently audit system accuracy. Manage routine staff time and attendance tracking.
    Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience directly supervising fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or industrial supply operations.
  • Leadership Style: Proven success reviving fragmented workplace cultures, resolving conflict, and holding teams accountable to metrics and instructions.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in standard spreadsheets (such as MS Excel or Google Sheets), with the specific ability to independently utilize lookup functions and pivot tables for inventory
    auditing.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong, independent analytical and decision-making capabilities; someone who naturally thrives with minimal micromanagement.
  • Physical Profile: Must be comfortable working in variable, non-climate-controlled warehouse environments and routinely handling physical labor, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Certifications: Active equipment operation experience (forklifts/material handling) is preferred.
  • Logistics Requirements: A valid driver's record is required. Must have flexibility to accommodate early morning shifts and seasonal volume demands.
