What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Night Order Selector, and why are they important?

Familiarity with warehouse management systems, pallet jacks, forklifts, and handheld scanners is typically required. Common challenges include managing fatigue during overnight shifts, handling heavy or bulky items, and meeting stringent productivity goals. Effective time management, attention to safety protocols, and maintaining good physical health can help address these challenges. Teamwork is also essential, as selectors frequently coordinate with forklift operators and shipping staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently.
