Position Summary
  • The Sales Coordinator at Skyline Champion supports the sales organization by ensuring smooth communication, accurate order processing, and efficient coordination between customers, Sales, Production, and Shipping.
  • This role is responsible for maintaining documentation, tracking sales activity, and supporting sales initiatives to help drive a positive customer experience and overall sales performance.
Order Processing & Documentation
  • Enter and maintain sales orders accurately within internal systems.
  • Verify completeness of customer purchase orders, pricing, specs, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate order changes, updates, and approvals with Sales and internal departments.
  • Prepare and distribute order acknowledgments and confirmations to customers.
  • Maintain digital and physical records of sales orders, contracts, and correspondence.
Sales Support & Customer Communication
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions related to order status, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Communicate build dates, shipment timelines, and changes to customer orders.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with quotes, product information, and follow-up activity.
  • Support customer visits, plant tours, and product demonstration scheduling.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Production Scheduling to align customer needs with manufacturing capacity.
  • Work closely with Shipping to ensure accurate and timely delivery of homes.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Purchasing when customer selections or customizations require clarification.
  • Communicate shortages, delays, or spec issues to internal stakeholders promptly.
Reporting & Administrative Support
  • Maintain dashboards, sales logs, and weekly reports for Sales Leadership.
  • Track sales metrics, production timelines, and backlog status.
  • Assist with preparation of sales presentations, pricing sheets, and marketing materials as needed.
  • Support data entry and updates in CRM and ERP systems.
Customer Experience & Quality Assurance
  • Verify accuracy of customer specifications before orders are released to Production.
  • Ensure all customer requirements are documented and communicated clearly to internal teams.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns regarding orders, timelines, and documentation.
Qualifications - Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of administrative, sales support, or coordination experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with ERP/CRM systems.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications - Preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction products, or building materials.
  • Prior experience supporting a sales team or customer-facing role.
