Customer Service Specialist

A growing company is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support daily branch operations outside of Richmond, VA. This role will serve as the first point of contact for customers while assisting with order processing, inventory management, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, able to multitask, and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Greet and assist customers at the front counter
  • Process customer and internal orders accurately using company systems
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory and shipments

  • Prepare outgoing shipments and generate shipping documentation

  • Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Support rental operations by preparing, testing, and tracking equipment

  • Assist customers with equipment pickups, returns, and inquiries

  • Monitor supply levels and communicate replenishment needs

  • Provide operational and administrative support to ensure smooth branch operations

Qualifications Include:

  • Previous customer service, administrative, or operations experience

  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
