Job description

Title: Order Management Representative

Location: North Sioux City, SD

Status: Full-Time, Part-Time

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Description: Order Management Reps interact with distributors, manufacturers, and directly with our customers, to ensure that our customer satisfaction levels are consistently world class. It is the responsibility of the Order Management Reps to communicate with customers pre-and post-delivery of products and/or services to inquire about accuracy, completeness, timeliness of the order, and the overall satisfaction of our customers. The Order Management Reps will identify any issues or problems with the sales orders, and will work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Accounting to rectify those issues or problems in the best interest of the customer and Sterling.

Required Technical Skills: The Order Management Reps should have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Salesforce or similar CRM.

Required Education/Experience: 1 – 3 years of customer service or related experience is required.

Requirements:

  • Able to communicate via phone / email with customers and communicate, coordinate, and work effectively with coworkers
  • Very organized. Detailed and task-oriented worker
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Capable of working in a high-paced, demanding sales environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer requests for assistance and issues via email and phone, address issues and coordinate with account managers and customer success managers to appropriately respond
  • Communicate with distributors, manufacturers, partners to ascertain product shipment information and order status
  • Accurately and quickly document software and license information
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity in Salesforce
  • Coordinate and communicate with Sterling’s order management reps to ensure timely shipment and delivery of product to meet customer delivery schedules
  • Assist, coordinate, and document in resolving issues/returns with customers
