Job Description Sales Associate Setting/Hours: Hybrid - 2 Days Remote | Full-time Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that's expanding its Shared Services team. Position Summary We are seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to support order management, procurement, and customer service activities within a collaborative industrial distribution environment. This role works closely with Inside Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Warehouse, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate order processing, timely product delivery, and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and problem-solving are essential. Key Responsibilities Manage and prioritize customer orders to ensure timely and accurate order entry. Process customer purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities to fulfill customer requirements.

Monitor and expedite customer orders and supplier purchase orders to meet delivery commitments. Troubleshoot order, supply chain, and delivery issues while coordinating resolutions with suppliers and internal teams. Partner with Accounting on new customer setup, credit/rebill requests, invoicing questions, and order-related issues.

Process orders from individual and shared team queues while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding order status, delivery updates, and issue resolution. Build and maintain strong working relationships with supplier customer service teams and internal stakeholders.

Monitor and respond to shared team inboxes to support customer inquiries and order processing. Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to proactively identify and resolve potential order delays or customer concerns. Assist with office administrative duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating meetings, and supporting daily office operations.

Utilize ERP/business systems to accurately manage order processing and customer information. Qualifications Some college coursework or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience using ERP or business operations software. Previous experience with IFS ERP software is a plus.

Preferred experience of 2-4 years supporting customers, purchasing, accounting, vendors, or order management functions.
