Job description

POSITION INFORMATION:
The Warehouse Stocking and Order Filler position assists in the receipting, stocking, pulling of parts, fulfilling orders, distributing parts, and performing administrative functions of the Parts Department, supports service functions, assures proper control of the parts inventory, inventory related documents, cleaning, straightening, organizing, assists department managers, and other related Parts administrative functions for the Parts Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fulfill orders for Parts and Service jobs.
  • Scan orders and parts.
  • Deliver parts/product/tools/materials to parts counter, will call, shipping and receiving, repair shop technician in shop.
  • Deliver parts/product/tools/materials to wholesale customer business location as needed.
  • Pick up product from local supplier locations as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of order. Match parts pulled to order. Verify part number and quantity.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
  • Check off incoming stock.
  • Stocking parts on parts shelves/racks/bins
  • Bin counts.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or the equivalent required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Minimum of two years of dealership or related experience. Professional personal appearance. Ability to work well with people. Ability to manage time and projects. High level of attention to detail. Excellent communications skills. Forklift experience, MO Class E drivers license, or equivalent.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Will both sit and stand. Move throughout the dealership facility for most of the shift. S/he will walk, climb ladders, climb stairs, stop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, and feel. S/he will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Will spend time on the telephone, at a computer inputting information for extended periods of time. Using tablets and scanners to pull and complete orders. Will regularly lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Will utilize a forklift, pallet jack, on other material handling equipment. Will use hand tools, power tools, air tools. Drive Parts Department motorized vehicles/utility vehicles to transport product. The Warehouse and Warehouse Order Filler position will be required to follow the Midway Parts Department dress policy wearing a Parts Department uniform and follow all company and parts department safety rules and requirements. Evening, holiday, and weekend work hours will be required as needed.
