About the Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders, maintaining order records, and coordinating with customers and internal departments to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Enter customer orders accurately into the company's order management system.
  • Must be able to type and 10-key proficient.
  • Review orders for pricing, quantities, product information, shipping details, and other requirements.
  • Confirm order information and resolve discrepancies with customers or internal teams.
  • Monitor order status and communicate updates as needed.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Shipping teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records.
  • Process order changes, cancellations, and corrections in a timely manner.
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding order status.
  • Follow company procedures for order processing, documentation, and data accuracy.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Answer phones and communicate professionally.
 
Qualifications
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be on time and reliable.
  • Previous order entry, customer service, administrative, or data-entry experience preferred.
