Job description

Title: Sales Order Entry Specialist - Entry Level
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 Month
Hybrid (3-4 days onsite, 1-2 days remote/WFH per week)
Position Summary
The Sales Order Entry Specialist supports the Neuromodulation Sales Operations team by accurately entering, validating, and managing sales orders within Salesforce (SFDC). This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, maintaining order integrity, and supporting efficient order processing workflows. The specialist works closely with Sales Representatives, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely and compliant order execution. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in data entry and Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter and process sales orders and related transactions in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Review orders for completeness, accuracy, pricing, customer information, and required documentation prior to submission.
  • Validate product, customer, and order data to ensure compliance with business rules and operational requirements.
  • Monitor Salesforce order queues and manage order intake within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Sales Operations teams to resolve order discrepancies and data issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer, account, and order records within Salesforce.
  • Conduct routine audits and quality reviews to ensure data integrity and minimize order processing errors.
  • Support order modifications, cancellations, and corrections as needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting Salesforce-related order entry issues and escalate system concerns when appropriate.
  • Generate and maintain reports related to order processing volume, backlog, and accuracy metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining order entry and sales operations processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or High School diploma
  • 0-1 years of experience in data entry, sales support, sales operations, customer service, or order management.
  • Experience using Salesforce (SFDC) (Can train them for a suitable candidate)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactional work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
