Core Responsibilities
  • Installation & Upgrades: Deploy and patch Tuxedo middleware across OS platforms like RHEL Linux or IBM AIX.
  • System Configuration: Establish domain parameters, machines, server groups, and workstation handlers.
  • Transaction Management: Optimize distributed transactions using Tuxedo ATMI, SALT, and TMQUEUE tools.
  • Environment Monitoring: Track shared memory, bulletin boards (BBL/DBBL), queues, and active system processes.
  • Security Administration: Configure authentication, ACL authorization, SSL encryption, and link-level security.
  • Performance Tuning: Adjust application parameters dynamically to optimize request routing and workload balancing.
  • Issue Troubleshooting: Resolve production issues, analyze core dumps, and manage P1/P2 incidents under strict SLAs.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with DBAs, application developers, and infrastructure teams for cross-stack integration.
