The HCM Oracle Integration Cloud Developer role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other enterprise systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). They will have a strong understanding of HCM business processes, integration best practices, and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to support HCM Cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
  • Maintain documentation for integrations, including design specifications, test plans, and support procedures.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integrations.
  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud updates and recommend improvements or enhancements to existing integrations.
  • Support data migration and transformation efforts during HCM implementations or upgrades.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
  • Build / manage SSOs, inbound and outbound interfaces, middleware, and data warehouse / archive solution.
  • Assess the impact of patch and quarterly releases on HCM Extracts, HDL, and HSDL, including considering the deprecation of DBIs and HSDL fields and the release of new fields.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. 

Education, Training, Certifications: 

  • High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and scheduled orchestration flows.[SF1] 
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management, etc.).
  • Oracle Cloud certification in OIC or HCM Cloud.
  • Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in a multi-tenant or global enterprise environment.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. 
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the business.

Systems and Software Skills:

  • Experience with HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and HDL (HCM Data Loader).
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, SAML, etc.) and data privacy standards.

Other Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. 
  • Must be able to comply with SFPH's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
  • Occasional travel required, up to 10%.
