Job Description:
Looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to work on missioncritical banking applications supporting highvolume transactional systems. The role involves developing and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL components with a strong focus on performance, stability, data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will collaborate closely with application teams, business analysts, QA, and production support teams in a highly controlled enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views for core banking and enterprise platforms
• Write and optimize highperformance SQL queries supporting large data volumes and nearrealtime processing
• Perform PL/SQL and SQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing strategies to meet SLA requirements
• Support businesscritical batch jobs, endofday (EOD) processing, and scheduled data flows
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Upstream/Downstream application teams to interpret functional requirements
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for datarelated issues
• Ensure adherence to Citi SDLC, change management, security, audit, and compliance standards
• Support data migration, data reconciliation, and ETL processes
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, code reviews, and release artifacts
• Work in Agile / Scrum or controlled waterfall delivery models as per Citi program governance
Mandatory Technical Skills
• Strong handson experience in Oracle PL/SQL & SQL
• Experience with Oracle Database (12c / 19c)
• Advanced knowledge of stored procedures, packages, triggers, cursors, collections
• Performance tuning using explain plans, indexes, partitions
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL Developer / TOAD
• Experience supporting production systems in a regulated environment
Banking Specific Experience ( Preferred )
• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services domain
• Exposure to highavailability systems, data controls, reconciliation, and audit requirements
• Understanding of SOX, data security, segregation of duties, and change governance
• Familiarity with large transactional datasets and batch processing architecture
Good to Have
• Exposure to ETL tools, controlM / AutoSys / scheduler tools
• Shell scripting (Unix)
• Data modeling and schema design
• Experience working with global teams and offshore-onsite delivery model
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
