They write stored procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts to manipulate and manage data within Oracle databases. Their responsibilities often include optimizing SQL queries, ensuring database performance, and collaborating with other developers or database administrators to implement business logic and data processing tasks. PL/SQL Developers play a crucial role in building robust, scalable, and efficient database-driven applications.

What is an Oracle PL SQL developer?

An Oracle PL/SQL developer is a specialist in PL, or Procedural Language, which is a proprietary extension of SQL, or Structured Query Language, developed by Oracle. PL/SQL is designed specifically to work in the Oracle database environment. As an Oracle PL/SQL developer, your duties revolve around the design, development, and integration of new software and automation techniques using PL/SQL for Oracle products, such as servers. Your responsibilities include the testing and implementation of new software and consulting with other programmers and developers.
