Job Title - Senior Oracle integration Cloud
 
Location - Washington ,DC
 
Contract Duration - 6+ months

Position Summary:
The Senior Oracle integration Cloud (OIC) Middleware, ETL, EBS Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and supporting ETL Jobs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations for an Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environment hosted in OCI. This role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable data flows between EBS and external systems, aligning with enterprise integration standards and operational readiness activities.
This position requires deep expertise in OIC orchestration, REST/SOAP services, FBDI/HDL patterns, ERP adapters, ETL Process and hands-on understanding of EBS interface tables, APIs, and concurrent program frameworks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
OIC Integration Design & Development:
 
• Design, build, and maintain OIC integrations (orchestrations, scheduled jobs, file-based flows, event-driven integrations) that support ERP modernization and UNIFI operations, aligned with initiative discussions in Pre-IBM Review Meeting Re: Integrations and Data Transport Methods.
• Implement REST/SOAP services, OIC Connectors, EBS adapters, FTP/SFTP, and OCI Object Storage patterns.
• Build FBDI-based and API-based integrations for Financials, Procurement, AR/AP, and custom modules.
• Develop transformation mappings (XSLT/JSON/XML) and apply error-handling, retry, and notification frameworks.
• Developing and troubleshooting PL/SQL, EBS interfaces/APIs, concurrent programs, BI Publisher/XML artifacts as needed, and middleware/integration components (e.g., Oracle integration Cloud (OIC)/Oracle Integration patterns, web services, file-based exchanges); implementing monitoring and audit-ready logging; supporting test cycles and cutovers; and resolving production defects while adhering to federal security and compliance expectations.
 
EBS R12 Integration Support:
• Design and support interfaces and concurrent program frameworks using EBS staging tables, validations, and public APIs.
• Collaborate with technical teams on data extraction requirements for outbound integrations. • Troubleshoot data, process, API, and workflow issues involving EBS subledger modules.
 
Operational Readiness & Migration Support:
• Participate in integration design reviews and cross-team planning meetings (e.g., ERP Interim Operational Capacity (IOC) Design Review).
• Support cutovers, migrations, and release deployments across OCI environments.
• Coordinate with DBAs, EBS Admins, and Technical Developers to validate end-to-end integration readiness.
 
Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Support
• Monitor OIC dashboards, error logs, instance runs, and connectors.
• Analyze and resolve integration failures, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks. • Enhance logging, observability, and exception-handling capabilities to meet enterprise reliability standards.
 
Documentation & Governance
• Develop technical design documents, integration specifications, and support runbooks.
• Maintain source-to-target mappings, API catalogs, and versioning standards in alignment with ongoing operational planning .
• Support SOX/SOD, audit evidence, and compliance documentation as required.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
• 7–10+ years with Oracle EBS technical or integration development, including strong expertise in EBS R12.
• 3–5+ years hands-on with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestrations.
• 3–5+ years hands-on with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL ETL data-load patterns.
• REST/SOAP integrations, event-driven flows, file transfers, and scheduling.
• Strong experience with EBS interface tables, open APIs, concurrent programs, and data-load patterns.
• Expertise with FBDI/ADFdi, transformation mappings (XSLT/JSON/XML), and integration best practices.
• Proficiency with OCI services relevant to integrations (Object Storage, Networking, Keys/Certs).
• Strong PL/SQL, performance tuning skills, and ability to debug complex data flows.
• Experience participating in cross-functional design reviews like Review ERP TDD for ERB or integration-focused reviews.
• Excellent communication skills and experience supporting large integration programs.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in EBS integrations with cloud systems, ERP modernization.
• Experience in Data warehouse tools (e.g., OBIEE, Snowflake, etc..)
• Experience in ETL tools (e.g., ODI, Informatica, etc..)
• Experience in OCI DevOps pipelines, Git-based CI/CD for OIC, or API Gateway.
