Position: Oracle MFCS Technical Architect(Merchandising Foundation Cloud Services)

Location: Irving, Texas

Duration: Long term contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect for Oracle Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) to lead solution design, integrations, and technical governance across a complex retail environment. The architect will define scalable, secure, and high-performing MFCS solutions that enable operational efficiency and accurate merchandising data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design E2E technical architecture for Oracle MFCS and related Oracle Retail modules (RDS, SACS, ORPCS, ORIMCS).
  • Lead integration design using enterprise middleware platforms.
  • Drive MFCS extensions, custom validations, and performance-optimized PL/SQL logic.
  • Define data migration, conversion, and reconciliation strategies.
  • Establish cloud and architecture best practices for availability, security, and performance.
  • Partner with business SMES, functional teams, and engineers to deliver high-quality solution designs.

Required:

  • Oracle Retail, with strong experience in MFCS/RMS.
  • Strong knowledge of foundation data, item induction, purchasing, costing, and inventory processes.
  • Deep experience with integrations to ERP, POS, WMS, e-commerce, finance systems.
  • Hands-on PL/SQL, API design, and performance engineering skills.
  • Ability to create architecture blueprints and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with OCI, Kafka/Event Hub, Sprinboot is good to have.
  • Retail domain experience in specialty, beauty, grocery, or apparel.
