Summary
We are seeking an Oracle Unifier Consultant to deliver and optimize Unifier solutions for utility and capital investment clients. This role combines deep technical and functional expertise to implement, configure, and integrate Oracle Unifier, supporting project controls and process improvements in a client-facing environment.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES DEEP, HANDS-ON UNIFIER EXPERIENCE.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Unifier Implementation & Configuration
• Develop, configure, install, and maintain Oracle Unifier applications and environments to meet client-specific business processes and industry best practices.
• Customize Unifier modules, dashboards, KPIs, security roles, and workflows.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and system optimization.
Project Controls & Process Management
• Implement and support project cost management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control using Oracle Unifier.
• Configure and support scheduling, document management, and portfolio governance.
• Audit configurations and maintain compliance with governance standards.
Client Engagement & Advisory
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand project needs and translate them into system functionalities.
• Map client workflows to Unifier capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Provide client-facing advisory services, combining functional and technical expertise for end-to-end delivery.
Integration & Technical Solutions
• Integrate Oracle Unifier with related systems (e.g., Oracle P6, ERP, EcoSys, Sage).
• Design and implement technical solutions, including custom reports, dashboards, and integrations.
• Support data migration and system integrations.
Training, Documentation & Support
• Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and support user adoption.
• Deliver ongoing support and training to users on Oracle Unifier and project management best practices.
• Prepare business, functional, and system requirement documents.
• Provide technical documentation and support end-to-end business process testing.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle Unifier features and enhancements to improve system utilization.
• Analyze data and generate reports to assist in decision-making and project performance evaluation.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• REQUIRED: Proven experience as an Oracle Unifier Developer and Configuration Specialist, with a strong portfolio of successful implementations.
Technical & Functional Expertise
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Unifier, including configuration tools and scripting.
• Experience with Oracle architecture, SQL, WebLogic, and technical configuration.
• Integration experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, API development, and middleware.
Project Controls & Industry Knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of project cost management and scheduling methodologies.
• Familiarity with utility industry practices and standards (preferred).
Process & Change Management
• Experience in process modeling, change management, and risk management.
• Understanding of audit processes and Oracle security.
Communication & Collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership experience and client engagement skills.
