Job Summary:
Ascension Federal Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join their team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of Oracle databases, including planning, implementing, and maintaining database systems.
Responsibilities:
• Install and configure Oracle database software
• Monitor and maintain database performance
• Manage and maintain refugee programs data and produce reports. Converts and exports data in MS Access databases to the Oracle database as required.
• Write, modify, and optimize SQL queries, including creating stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Design, develop and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
• Strong technical understanding of application tool of Oracle APEX.
• Troubleshoot and debug database related issues.
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Ensure data integrity and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Perform database backups and recovery
• Collaborate with developers to optimize database queries
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven work experience as an Oracle DBA
